Did you know Macquarie Centre is home to a Return & Earn machine? ♻️

Return and Earn is a NSW Government initiative that makes recycling drink containers both fun and rewarding!

For every eligible bottle, can, and carton you return, you can earn 10 cents, and our environment gets a lot less litter. 

It’s a win-win: you get a little extra cash, and our environment gets a lot less litter. 100% of the eligible drink containers you return will be recycled. Once returned, your drink containers become a valuable material for recycling. In fact there has been over 50% reduction in drink container litter since pre-scheme levels!

Most beverage containers are accepted – so why not save the environment while also making a little extra  cash. Lets make the difference together!

The process is super simple:
1. Collect eligible bottles, cans and cartons.
2. Take the eligible recyclables to the Macquarie Return and Earn point.
3. Earn a refund or make a donation - every eligible bottle, can or carton you return is worth 10c.
